About Rosie

I have loved painting for as long as I can remember, from the days of poster paints and collage as a toddler at nursery school through to oil paints and acrylics in later life.

​

A 15 year career at Christie's auction house in London provided me with a lifetime's supply of inspiration and interest, from Antiquities to Old Masters to Pre-Raphaelites, through to works by the Impressionists and then Contemporary artists.

​

Throughout this time I frequently hand-decorated plates and other ceramics for birthday, Christmas and christening gifts for family and friends.

​

The arrival of two daughters and a subsequent move out of London into the beautiful Northamptonshire countryside has provided me with the opportunity to begin on my Rosie Paints journey.
